TSAR is a transparent organization. We post our guiding documents on our site for transparency to our donors, the public we serve, and for other SAR teams as a model to consider when forming or updating their own documents.
LEVELS OF MEMBERSHIP IN TSAR
- APPLICANT – Someone who has applied to the team.
- TRAINEE – A person whose application has been accepted by vote and signature of the Board of Directors.
- MISSION-READY TRAINEE – A trainee who has completed the training requirements for going on SAR missions.
- FULL MEMBER – Someone who has completed all training and passed all requirements of membership in TSAR as outlined by the membership certification form.
- LIFE MEMBER – Someone who has served in an extraordinary capacity and has been appointed by the team to this honorary membership level, usually at around 20 years of service.
- AUXILIARY MEMBER – Someone who is no longer a full-time, active member, but who offers an auxiliary specialty to the team.
